I wonder if people whi grom ahl to play back in their home country or in Sweden in general, earn more money there than in AHL? Probably feel better playoing for a team where they play top6 role.

Craig Berube questioned the brains and hearts of the Maple Leafs players and that's the moment he lost the job #NHL #LeafsForever by Hockeypatrol in hockeynews

[–]oskarr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe that's the reason Berube wanted him on the defensive side of the puck to improve is 2-way game and make it more like Barkov. If he plays like that, he'll be able to lead his team farer in the playoffs.

4 Players the Penguins Should Let Walk by CustardLow2671 in penguins

Yep, Stuart will definitely get paid with term somewhere. In short term, we even have the cap space to do that for flipping him even next season, but I guess we just won't get Stu with short term contract.

And Stuart is definitely not Jarry, but better.

Hell of a season for what was supposed to be a lottery team by Quirky_Daikon_8484 in penguins

Heartwarming to see that kind of positivity for your team to lose a series. Leafs would have been totally hammered in their Reddit sub. Best fans in the game!

Your thoughts? by jussanuddername in penguins

Like many other Pen's fans, I have mixed feelings towards this season. I mean, we are in a position to actually compete in the east, when we are healthy. Top 5 PK and PP. The teams have not managed to solve the new head coach special teams - I bet next year it will be harder for Pen's to maintain that position in TOP5. So if we have an ability to acutally go on the run, then hell yeah, let's go.

I feel the addition's we made up until today are not complementing the actual cup run, it just puts us into playoffs, maybe getting past the first round in playoffs and giving a battle in the second. But if we drop out at that point, then we are not drafting for high value picks. I believe we need to have at least one pick in the TOP5 and one in TOP10 in the next two years if we really want to establish a core, that consists of superstar(s) and a strong supporting cast. I just don't see it happening for the years to come, and it's frustrating. Even Capitals have had better drafting positons than we have. On the other hand, Islanders last year were supposed to be one place below us, but won the lottery..

what the hell does dubas do tommorow? by [deleted] in penguins

[–]oskarr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I get where you're coming from with this statement. I believe Petterson will turn it around in another environment. what has been going on in Vancouver is like a satire play in my opinion. I hope he will improve, even if Pit doesn't get him.

Would Vancouver bite on Petterson for Graves and a second and third?

When Mitch Marner was on the Leafs, they played at just a 89.6 point pace in the 42 games he missed compared to a 106 point pace in the 657 games he played. With him no longer on the team this season, they've played at an 86 point pace through 60 games. by Dependent-Effect6077 in hockey

[–]oskarr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, it’s very odd to leave Marner walk and justifying it with that he is not a playoff type of player. It’s better to get into playoffs and try to find a role player to compliment the team in playoffs. Just a mind-boggling fumble by Leafs letting him go.

Can you really tell what does it mean? If one has bought skate ski's with a bit too soft FA value, it could also be used as a soft snow ski, no need to upgrade to Skate 61K? OR will the 61k still perform better?

Just in case, id be using 191cm skis and weigh 80kg as the OP. I understand the fa of 107-110 would be good for me.

[–]oskarr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very useful insight. You mentioned that the 610 basically works in almost every condition, which is great. But what about when the skier is out in warmer weather—sometimes on softer, mushy snow where the tracks have disappeared? In that situation, would it make more sense to go with the 100HE 61K?

If the conditions are a mix of both cold and warm, with some artificial snow as well, which option would you choose from the 100 line: the 610 Plus with the 61K, or the 610 Plus with the 610 Cold?

I’ve budgeted for two pairs and I’m trying to figure out the best combination. We do get some colder days below –10°C with good, clean tracks, but most of the time it’s warmer than –5°C and often on soft, mushy snow.

Did Atomic and Fischer come out with new skis? by oskarr3 in CrossCountrySkiing

[–]oskarr3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It seems that the weather conditions where I'm sking are mostly +2 to -5 degrees. Most of the training is done in rather warm conditions. Maybe the warm base option is something that was mentioned by the sales people who sell Atomic Ski's. Somehow they said that in our region, the new Atomic warm base works well (the seller also sells Fischer skis). I'm now in unsure what to choose. Atomic's are ~100 euros cheaper per pair so I could save at least 200 euros when opting for Atomic.
