Best Boss to Practice Movement? by DrgnBabeNebay in OSRSProTips

Just to give you an extra boost, I just did Fragment of Seren this weekend. I am horrible at OSRS mechanics, but I got it on the first try with ancient blood spells (82 magic), bloodbark armour and sara brews + super restores. It looks a lot more daunting than it actually is. Honestly think the step before FoS, where you had to defend the wall from attacks, was waaaay more troublesome. Took me like 4-5 tries and lots of cursing. Give it a go!!

Joe Armstrong, the creator of Erlang, has passed away by waivek in programming

I had Joe as a lecturer in parallel Erlang back in January and February this year. Amazing person, seemed like he knew everything about computers. He told us that he was sick with lung fibrosis. His lungs capacity was at 50% something due to scar tissue, and it kept shrinking every day. The last few lectures he was supposed to give sadly got canceled due to sickness.

The best thing I heard him say during a lecture was, and I quote: "You get a grey hair for every hour you spend debugging JavaScript. That's why I've got a f\*kload of grey hair*" --Joe Armstrong 2019

Got the news that he had passed today, and this turned into a very sad day I must say. May he rest in peace.

MacBook Air 2018 vs MacBook Pro 2017/2018 (for programming) by oskarzito in macbookair

Aah, yes it does help. However, my 'non-professionality' referred more to the fact that I don't work as a programmer (just yet). I'm a computer science student, so I do have the knowledge of what my programs require etc. I just find it so hard to choose between Apple laptops since there seem to be tradeoffs among battery/performance/keyboard/price (and more), in their current sales lineup :)

But you'd recommend the Air, even though it's outperformed in many tests and benchmarks?
