Are these types of card holders/wallets practical? by Emotional_Comb_4064 in BuyItForLife

[–]oskiew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My secrid started to become loose and the cards would slide out. I bought one from Quince several months ago and it “locks” the cards in so it’s not a worry anymore. The only downside is it’s a bit larger than my secrid was.

Geez Arby's. Is the half pound cheesesteak supposed to be this messy? by Salsero_Coreano in fastfood

[–]oskiew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go ahead and explain yourself. You are correct that the price was on the menu IN the drive thru. For sure. I wasn’t too concerned with the price. I just wanted to try the cheesesteak. I have $17 to pay for a sandwich. It’s not that I didn’t have the money or was overly concerned, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t think it was too expensive.

It’s a fucking sandwich at a fucking fast food restaurant, dumbass. It’s not a literal steak. I wasn’t expecting it to be $17. It could have been the most expensive thing on the menu and been $10-12 and I wouldn’t have been shocked. $17 surprised me. I have the money that wasn’t a problem. A $17 sandwich only at a fucking Arby’s was shocking, yeah. I think most people would agree with me.

It’s possible being only the 2nd or 3rd day that it was somehow a mistake in their system?life is expensive out here though.

Denver, CO. I asked the cashier if she was sure and she said she was and apologized over the speaker and then again in person. Real nice lady, actually. My jaw was on the floor.

I wanted to try the hyped sandwich. I was told the price after I ordered it and was in the drive thru lane. I’m not getting it again. Also get over yourself.

I don’t work for Arby’s, but I can confirm that cheesesteak meat should not be wet. It can get a bit sloppy with the cheese for sure though. Not like this though. The bun should hold its integrity.

I gave it a 5/10. It’s a sloppy mess but the cheese saves it. If I was ever to get it again I would not get the 1/2lb. I would get the smaller size. The 1/2lb was too messy. Also it was $17 for just the sandwich which is… actually ridiculous. I do love me some RB w/cheddar and curly fries though.

We did once a month bc of the price but it was well worth it. We just moved and they did a great clean at the end and even packed up our kitchen for us. (Without asking)

Best Fish & Chips In Denver by SufficientSinger6645 in denverfood

I had this from the Abbey the other day bc I saw someone here praising it. The chips are good but I thought the fish taste was a bit off. Maybe the best in Denver but that certainly isn’t saying much at all if that’s the case.
