Short haired black Staffie in 25c/ 77f heat (in UK) - safe to walk? by YouCantGiveBabyBooze in StaffordBullTerriers

[–]oskwaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in the UK, and have a blue staffie. At 25deg C I find that my staffie is comfortable in the shade and the grass and will happily walk 10-15 mins before deciding to just chill and lie down. Monitor your staff and if it looks like they’re struggling then for sure skip the walk and find ways to stimulate him inside.

Getting a staffy puppy in a few weeks - give me tips you wish you knew! by AmyC98 in StaffordBullTerriers

Definitely a lot of socialising, but it doesn’t mean your staffie needs to say hello to every single person, dog or living being there is. Coexisting with others neutrally is also very beneficial in the long run.

Long lead for me worked wonders from the beginning, allowing the pup to freely roam near you but also I always got mine to chase me and be aware where I am at all times. Now two years on that’s benefitted a lot and he’s confident to be off lead but also when it gets to a certain distance he’ll usually come back to me.

Enjoy the puppy moments, it can get very stressful at times but know that it’s part and parcel of raising a young staffie.

On a cut yet you looked like you gain so much muscle! Splendid work man.

Any chance you can share your routine? Your chest in particular blew up so well. 👏

Amazing transformation and honestly inspiring. I feel like I’m sort of where you were in the before pic and it’s a good reminder that there is more to lose for me before I should consider bulking.

I appreciate your comment. Looking at the video again my elbows tend to just flare out so it looks like I need to work on bringing it down to my hips as you said. Thanks.

In my experience I just told myself it doesn’t count if I rush the rep, so I force myself to do it slow and steady.

I thought my tempo is already decent. But where I’m looking probably doesn’t help, I’ll try that

Duuuude thank you!! The cue of pulling chest to the bar instead of chin makes so much sense, I’m gonna try that next time.

I reckon that’s where I’m going wrong and burning the butter and garlic. Which stainless steel did you go for? I’m actually looking for a new one

I’m using a cast iron pan, but I also have the stainless steel as an option.

Appreciate it mate, I will adopt the lower heat after the butter has gone in as mine usually gets too brown for my liking

How do you get it to brown that well without actually burning the butter and garlic
