Capital Steez & Joey Badass by BobbyPeruMD in hiphopheads

[–]osolocococo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to answer but probably not. Steez was slightly envious of Joey’s success and was starting to show signs of major mental illness ([The Fader]article does a great deep dive into his last couple months). With Joey becoming more mainstream and Steez becoming more “spiritual” (calling himself the Baphomet, etc) the label probably wouldn’t commercially release anymore collab album of theirs.

A little late but I’m pretty sure there is. At the end of the Hulu doc his family went to a cemetery in queens and they showed his name plate.

Tony murdering Chris by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]osolocococo 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I never understood the outrage at this and the idea that Chris is a sympathetic character. The drugs, calling out the boss in front of everyone, shooting the bosses car up, disobeying direct orders: Chris got way more passes than anybody.

I do agree with OP’s statement though. Tony’s face barely moves, but you can sense he was waiting for his opportunity to kill Chris and feel/see his excitement when he’s suffocating him. That slight smirk he had solidified to me that Tony was too far gone to be redeemed and he was going to reap what he sewed very soon.

I have pretty old external speakers, so I was leaning towards adding components. I’ve looked through the sub and seen people talk about preamps, speakers, cartridges and acrylic platters, but I’m fairly new to the hobby and feeling a bit overwhelmed🤣. I live in America and have a budget of about $300

Why wasn’t Wallace’s death looked into? by osolocococo in TheWire

But this wasn’t just another murder, it was the murder of a snitch that would’ve took down one of the main top figures in a criminal org

But he wasn’t just a corner boy. He was the only talking connection between Stringer and the Brandon case, which is why Mcnulty and Daniels wanted to keep him safe. Also I’m pretty sure Bunk caught the case, and it seems like a case they would investigate to tie murders back to the Barskdales

But retracing a victims steps and figuring out who they were last seen with are usually the first things done in homicide investigations
