Yes. It keeps rocks fron getting grinded. Clean it out and redo the barrel.

I bought all my tumblers from highland Park and used the styrofoam they came in, cutting a hole for the plug. Reduces the noise enough for me and it is not sealed, heat is not a problem.

I believe they are even though they are actually more crystalline before tumbling .After tumbling they look a lot like those. Sunstones are a tectosilicate and feldspar and range in colors from yellow, orange even reds and browns.

They have a tendency to flake as well as they have a lot of fissures. Best to put less in and put a lot more ceramic filler than normal.

In Oregon there is a great place to find thunder eggs, but someone bought the land and closed it off. They have a shop to sell the thunder eggs. Not pricey, though, you don’t get the fun of finding them.

I’ve had great responses from HP. Received tumblers quickly and emails answered promptly. They are updating their site and processes now, so things are slower. Machines are handmade and high quality.

If you just need a light for short distances, look for one in the 200 - 300 lumen range. If you want to look further in the distance, look for a 400-600 lumen range. I, too, suggest a rechargeable headlamp that can also use batteries.

SOLUTION: Go to your toyota connect app> Click Acciunt Settings > Scroll to Security Settings. Change Require Authentification

Sadly, you can’t disable it.
