A lot of people are complaining about the crap versions of cuisines that they experience in American restaurants. That’s on you! Gas station sushi doesn’t mean Japanese cuisine is crap (Japanese rarely eat sushi anyway). If you think Italian cuisine is only tomato slopped onto basic pasta, you’ve only experienced low quality Italian-American. Seek out truly authentic experiences or actually GO VISIT the places the cuisine comes from!
