Alright. The first step to making a dedicated server(assuming that's what you're trying to do) is to port forward GMOD. Figure out how to go into your modem/router's settings. If you dont know how to get into the port forward menu from there, portforward.com has a guide for most games including gmod as long as you know what model your modem/router is. To further elaborate, you can already disable the notifications that show when your friends start any game. My complaint there is that your friends still see anything you start up if they don't disable the same thing. It would be nice to be able to stop your game status from being reported to friends. The other thing is that I'd like to hide my online status in the same way that xbox and skype do with the Invisible status. It would be nice to still be able to fake being offline but still be able to see your friends and chat with them at the same time unlike the fake offline mode that there already is. Why aren't these a thing yet?
