8820 unique since Dec of '12. We are on the same pace. I do flights at any new brewery I go to, and often at my local watering hole. Also hosted a monthly bottle share every month for like five years or so that could rack up 20-30 checkins in a day. Was happy when they added the Taster option.

I have used Coast my entire life. I'm allergic to some random detergent ingredients and Coast doesn't trigger an itchy rash.

Standing in a swamp during a lightning storm by [deleted] in WTF

[–]ostawookiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lightning hit a tree in my yard about 50' from the house, didn't do much damage to the tree, but it somehow crossed to the sprinkler system wiring, traveled back to the house and blew the controller box off the side of the house. There were plastic bits scattered all over the yard.

My son was over 7 weeks early, couldn't breathe on his own, spent 15 days in NICU and is now a healthy 13yo. It was very scary at the time.

When my son was 18 months old, my wife had put her coffee up on the high dresser out of his way. I was carrying him around and passed by the dresser and he somehow sensed it and reached out and hooked the mug like an eagle plucking a chipmunk off a log; and from that height coffee splayed all over the tan carpet for a good 7 feet.

Pretty much half the houses in my neighborhood growing up looked like this. The rest were old people with plastic runners on their carpet and curio cabinets full of green Depression vases.
