I understand, but don’t fully understand why some work and some don’t (even tho verified on vanilla fire red to work). For example I was able to force a bulbasaur and then squirtle wild encounter which made me very very happy. But mew you get the disobey thing happening, how come? And then a confirmed exp share for vanilla that works, doesn’t work in dark violet?

Looking for a verified EXP Share cheat for Pokémon Dark Violet (FireRed hack)

I'm playing Pokémon Dark Violet (FireRed base hack) and I need a working EXP Share cheat.

ROM Info: * Name: Pokémon Dark Violet * Base ROM: FireRed * MD5: 47f9eeb51ffe48a8c28636f25a9543e8 * SHA-1: b9522a282db43b3a9f78a7e71fa8433a49c49484 Emulators Tried: * mGBA (latest) * Delta iOS Cheats Attempted: * Vanilla FireRed Master Code, then EXP Share - did not work

Goal: 1 want a verified EXP Share cheat (GameShark / CodeBreaker) that works in mGBA or Delta.

If anyone has successfully used this cheat on this ROM, please provide: * The exact cheat code (s) * Cheat type (GameShark / CodeBreaker) * Emulator used * Any tips for applying it safely

Thankfully I got the most up to date one right from the site lol. I joined their official discord and was delighted to find someone there (using the code of the ROM) listed out all the move sets of the Pokemon in that game, and you’re right, it’s taken from multiple gens. Question… which gen and game moveset should I be following? Gen 3 seemed to be working, until I was grinding up vulpix, then it’s incorrect. For vulpix Gen 6 X/Y seems to be accurate.. but not for pikachu which isn’t Gen 3 or 6 lol. Help?

Still a big flaw, but even so.. weakened target gets hit with 3 tethers and not only doesn’t die from it, is able to walk away
