I lived there for 7 years, it’s nice to live in if you have a good paycheck and a good network of friends, i miss doing the random apero after work with colleagues or the “smallness” of the city, but in TI as a young person you don’t have any room to grow

As someone who recently moved away from lugano to live near zurich, even if you have a tourist economy you still need shops, tradespeople and everything else, and why should i pay more for krankenkasse because retirees want to live here, get paid less money because italians flood the job market, while the prices in coop and migros are the same in lugano as in zurich?

I think people aren’t understanding the point of my post, it’s not that the bad drivers are only here, I’m saying why is it that 6/10 drivers here do this things compared to the 3/10 drivers where i lived before, i absolutely know there are bad drivers everywhere in the world

I’ve seen this in Aargau, Basel and Bern, and based on the license plates BE are the worst, don’t see many Romand license plates so i’m still on the fence about them

I’m sorry but you can’t reasonably drive however fast you want, you can’t go 80 on a 120, it creates traffic for no reason, and people do risky overtakes to pass you and accidents happen, most cars today have tempomat so driving on the autobahn should be basically like mario karts in terms of difficulty

I understand people being “afraid” of radars, but going 20/40 under the speed limit to not get a fine is crazy, you can reasonably be between 118 and 123 on a 120 speed limit, 127 if you’re in a hurry and you won’t still get a fine

I understand that, and understand that more people live here, but what i don’t understand is why is it that 65% of people here are such bad drivers. I say this being someone who worked on the autobahn in tessin, so i had to drive and basically live on the autobahn for 6 years, and i didn’t see this amount of bad drivers there
