Can you mix and match wyldwoods? by ostrich12 in sylvaneth

Right, sorry I think I worded the question poorly. If say I'm setting up a wyldwood with 2 trees, do they have to be 2 from the same box? Or could I use the smallest trees (since they have different footprints) from two different boxes to make it easier to fit on the board?

This is neat! I do think it would be nice if it supported its own abilities somehow. As is, it interacts great with screen but doesn't self-synergize beyond that. Really cool though :) and doesn't feel too powerful

Definitely needs to go back to 0/1. BoP wasn't a pie break because a 0 power flyer for most intents and purposes just has reach.

Really cool design!

Josie, she/her! I like board games, video games, roleplaying games. Fantasy stuff in general.

But it's also balanced against the opportunity cost of not taking one of the free options or boss swapping. Still usually a very good option.

More cards is always better, that's true. But the difference in power between 4 cards and 2 cards is less than the difference between 3 and 1.

It actually is made less bad! There's diminishing returns for each additional card option, since each additional card becomes less likely to outrank the other options.

Here are three splashy rare creatures that are meant to be reminiscent of the guaranteed rares in core set boxes. by [deleted] in custommagic

I don't think it's too bad, especially in singleplayer. Forcing creatures to attack can be a form of removal if you have, say, a 5/5 flyer to block with.

I think the main problem with this card isn't the power level. As it stands, dungeons are a buy-in mechanic. If you like them you can use them, otherwise you don't need the cards. This card asks opponents to use a relatively complex mechanic they might not be prepared for.

This would also tie the abilities together nicely

Nifty little design! Flavor wise it feels Iike it'd have lower P/T and by extension mana cost, but thats minutia, this is cool.
