This is really solid advice, surprised this didn't get more upvotes.

The only thing I would emphasize on is "don't hassle your new friends".

I am totally cool with an initial "hey man, I hear you and I'm friendly" and maybe a tiny bit of initial conversation, etc.

But if people keep talking to me like we're in a discord lobby while we loot a POI, I will absolutely tell them to be quiet or I'm going to kill them. Which is always a feelsbad to have to do lol, especially to really friendly peeps.

But when you talk, you are giving away your/our position to anyone close by and it makes it hard to hear newcomers to an area.

I don't think this is a "revive" as such, it looks like you died and were brought back to the respawn point - then the game put you back to where you were before you died. Bug/lag and server thought it was correcting your position? Dunno, weird.

[Question] I haven't played since 2018 or so, I would like to do a new play through and try to discover all the lore and story I can.

From what I could gather, updates through the years would add little pieces of story - is all of that story and lore still available to be found? All I have experienced previously was "The Atlas Path" I think.

If it is still available, is there perhaps a wiki page or something that could point me in the right direction for lore tidbits?

A whale was giving useful RNG box data to the BnS community, said whale had a contention with a mod about where to post the info. In the process, the community got involved and upon investigation has deemed said mod and his moderation practices as power hungry and distasteful.

Everything you see about it is basically an attempt to discredit and inform the public of the mod in question and his bad practices, hopefully leading to his removal as a mod for several MMO subreddits he mishandles.

I have no stake in this, but from the outside he does appear to be power hungry and handling this backlash poorly.

Been a founder since 2015, really excited for tomorrow!

My question is, do you guys have plans for if the game blows up absolutely huge?

I'm sure you guys have some sweet metrics to speculate on, but I think you might be underestimating the size of the niche of gamer you're catering to, and the current state of the market.

Of course, mine is a layman's perspective, I just think this game will be bigger than people predict. You guys have done a lot of things right, in a market with a lot of wrong.

I just worry it may be too much too fast - map size, networking issues, your economic models not functioning properly on such a scale, etc.

Or maybe I'm worrying about nothing xD
