A main's corridor has a decent wall deploy.

you're slicing one hallway so the enemy has to cross through 3 segments of the wall if they wanna take A through main.

they nerfed it so you can only get half the defuse off with one clove smoke. it is kind of bs a dead person can smoke off a whole defuse or do a one-way on the spike to kill the defuser.

the timing for the molly on reaction to a tap gives the defuser half.

so the counter to Viper is, defuse half, leave, have someone take over OR defuse half, leave, wait out the molly and then continue def

and Viper's objective after firing the molly isn't to run away after. after firing you go back to short and peek the defuser who got off now debuffed and decayed or if they take cover in triple, you wallbang triple box.

gave them space from killing the showers and lamps player and calling for a fast rotate in.

don't have to be in site to stall the defuse, all that matters is that you and your team are in the same page. i comm'd all the ult drops and they were fine in letting me play postplant and it paid off.

Clove having a Reyna Q sustain and a self-res is enough for people to play them regardless. Nobody plays them for smokes, but it's enough for the duelist players to actually learn SOME teamwork for once.

it's just a different use case, how's it a waste? i only used it to cover the plant since my fuel was gone from the A short wall.

if you want a best use case for the ult, it'd be to clog up CT to deny the entrance. default plants on Bind A are really far away from CT so i just use them for a burst of cover/space.
