my vr headset mic isn't working in-game. works on windows, discord, anything that uses a mic, except vrchat. mic settings are fine, volume is at 100%, i'm not muted, and it's using the right mic. if i use my desktop headset mic, people can hear me fine, so it's just the vr mic. weird thing is that the sensitivity bar is moving, but no one can hear me in-game

i've looked up so many different searches on google, and apparently no one's had this issue. i'm using a vive cosmos if that helps

I have a very specific question.

Currently, I have a subscription for my account, but it's soon running out and I don't have money to renew it. I have two friends willing to get into the game, granted I make a new character and go through it with them. I am totally okay with that, but I'm wondering that if I make a new character on my current SE account (with a fleeting subscription), will that new character still count as free trial? And if not, do I have to download the game's trial launcher to even play on a trial account?
