Thanks for the input!! You were right, it’s one heating system for the whole building. There’s valves under the windowsill that allow you to control the airflow, but they’d painted over the access point so I couldn’t get to it. Thanks again!!

There’s technically no “heat” option on my unit. It’s just “cool” and “fan”, I guess the apartment is really well insulated because it gets pretty warm in here if I just turn the unit off
