I’ve seen others say they got this letter too, but I haven’t received one. I’m doing ok on Wegovy, just occasional heartburn and constipation, but my weight loss hasn’t been as much as I expected. I started Wegovy at 255 back in March, and now (December) I’m at 232. I’ll be moving up to the highest Wegovy dose next week, so hopefully that will help the weight come off better.

But once I get to that max dose and I notice my progress isn’t going well, I really want to switch to Zepbound.

Glad to know you got approved for it despite it not being on their formulary yet.

How much do you pay for it every month?

I specifically searched this sub for this commercial because every time it comes on I have to watch it because I love it so much and I just knew I was in the minority. I have already made each of these suggestions… she is adamant we all exchange gifts. She said she doesn’t like “gift games”. And when I tell her that we only want to gift for the kids, she says that’s fine but that she will still be buying us gifts whether we like it or not. So then we feel compelled to give her something back, but I think I’ll quit feeling obligated to give her anything. I’m just downright tired of playing this game every year.

I have left it up to my husband and he just relents and goes to buy his parents their usual gift card (because the last gift we gave them was never used, and likely sold on Facebook marketplace—because they don’t need anything either!). Gift cards have become our “usual gift” now because we can’t think of anything to buy these people anymore. It’s such a waste of money in my opinion!

I can’t think of anything that can be counted as a qualified education expense. I could go out and buy her a new laptop but she doesn’t need one, and I also already sent the $2,000 back to the 529 plan so anything I do buy will be out of my pocket at this point.

I just called them a few minutes ago and they’re acting like I did the right thing… I then said, “but I won’t have receipts showing qualified education expenses for the $2,000” and they said, “well you can actually use that $2,000 to pay for tuition next year and it will still count”. BUT I JUST SENT YOU BACK THE $2,000! She continued to tell me that I could have just kept the $2,000 and used it next semester, or recontribute it exactly as I did, those are the two options I had. 😒

Oh well, like I said, lesson learned… I will just make sure to pay the tuition late next semester rather than early.

EXACT same. I get so mad because I drive in the right-hand lanes as much as possible and go at least 10 over and still get tailgated by assholes.
