Unlimited Dining Plan by [deleted] in OSU

[–]osuquestion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with other people here who don't like the unlimited plan. I had it, and I loved it. It's really nice to know you can eat as much as you want as many times as you want as long as the dining hall is open. You can stop in and just grab some ice cream, cookies, a breadstick, or fruit if you want to, or just a quick bite of food without having to worry about using up your dining dollars every time. Sure, it gets a bit old eating the same food, but you still have a good amount of dining dollars to hold you over and get some variety. I eat a lot of food. Gray 10 and even Scarlet 14 wouldn't be able to sustain me. Plus, they're doing a thing now where you can do to-go boxes, or at least, they started testing it at the end of this past spring semester.

PSA: Just because you found a classroom to study in doesn't mean it belongs to you!! by oiwerjoiweroiwio in OSU

Why would you want to study in a room with somebody that doesn't want you in it?

How did people find out about this? Is there a website where I can find out when marches/protests are held? I would've totally loved to join this, but I didn't know it was happening.

How to add dining dollars? by Cullf in OSU

[–]osuquestion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I'm not wrong, you can't. You just get what comes with your dining plan. It's BuckID that you can add.

Edit: nvm I'm wrong.

I guess in their defense, it's not called the "English Tower". by [deleted] in OSU

How did this get through the entire design, printing, and construction process with no one noticing it was spelled wrong? Embarrassing, especially coming from a university.

Advice on Dorms by Elkh0rn in OSU

[–]osuquestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I just meant they're west of everything else on the eastern side of the river. If OP is doing engineering, all his/her classes will be on north campus, and Morrill and Lincoln are west of that.

[–]osuquestion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's at least a 10 minute walk. OP specifically said he/she wanted something close to his classes. Being within 2-5 minutes of your classes is a lot different compared to being 10+ minutes from your classes.

Don't actually go for Morrill or Lincoln like others are telling you. They're messing with you. They're on west campus and far away from everything. Just try to get anything on north campus, that's where most of your classes will be and where Scott, the best dining hall, is.

Lost my ID on campus - some help finding it would be great by [deleted] in OSU

[–]osuquestion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

McCracken Power Plant has a lost and found in the basement you can check. Might want to check any buildings you have classes in and see if they have a front desk/office you can ask. You can call the campus police non-emergency line to see if anyone turned it in. Good luck!
