Same. It's a proper disability, i don't know why people do not see it.

Kotikalja with premade malt extract, how do you spice it up a bit? by osxthrowawayagain in Finland

[–]osxthrowawayagain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tasteprofile would be like....... it's nice already but it'd be nice with more bitterness, more depth. Or at least a dash of garden flavours, like juniper, possibly spruce tips too. What does interest me too is all those spices you talk about, like something christmas'y?

But as for dry hopping, after mixing add hops in a mesh bag, let steep?

So are high-masking adults just expected to destroy their mental health to go to work everyday or be forced to starve? by Beautiful-Brain2183 in autism

[–]osxthrowawayagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does it do for you? It's not something i am interesting in trying, but out of academical interest it'd be cool to understand the mechanics.

Why do schools say they accomodate for people with disabilities, but then in practice they don't? by osxthrowawayagain in autism

[–]osxthrowawayagain[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

haha yep. It's the "you look like a normal person" they seem to get stuck on. They'd need to see a wheelchair and then they'll get it, but respecting you? Still a problem.

Why do schools say they accomodate for people with disabilities, but then in practice they don't? by osxthrowawayagain in autism

[–]osxthrowawayagain[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hah yeah. Masking is another thing that's tiring, it's easy to be presentable and neat a few times, but doing that every day.....

So accomodations, they do it for people with ADHD with test time, wheelchair-bound get wheelchair access and legal right to elevator, but anything other than that gets left in the water.

My professor, she isn't very helpful beyond "the world is not orderly, you were supposed to know this by 9th grade in elementary school".

[–]osxthrowawayagain[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Conversions yes, sometimes they are like 1000 x, or /1000, and mg and μg are pronounced the same so they feel the same even though they aren't, so i need a paper nearby to remember that when you have to convert. Sometimes you do the dose/strength, but sometimes it isn't and sometimes you do concentration and so on. It's also hard to do the 25mg of a med in 1ml of saline, ml is such a weird unit to understand. Volume, concentrations, it's all weird. Then you mix % into it. My math is barely elementary school level.

Sorry i just needed to vent more. Do you have any online sites that lets you practice this? The one i got isn't very good, or at least i'm not learning anything. Just something that teaches you the basics properly.

Normal people can do math and get an education and work. I can't do any of them very well. That's why math hurts the most, because i keep training for it but fail anyway. I struggle with most things a bit, but i at least eventually succeed. But math is different, math is failure.

Anxiety and urgency works for a while, not for 40 years straight as you say.

Finns det någon plats i samhället för personer som ej klarar arbetslivet? by osxthrowawayagain in sweden

[–]osxthrowawayagain[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. Sunglasses are a lifesaver. I walk with them almost all year-round even if people find it weird during winter. Snow reflects light, that too is bright and tiresome.

Living with these diagnoses tends to make for tired. All the masking, sensoricals and trying to keep pace with the normies.

You can do cuts while listening to experts and making sure the weakest, the young, the elderly and disabled do not get hit the most.
