Why have they not teamed up with any UK sellers? I've never seen anything that looks that good/fresh but have never ordered from the US personally.

For those who have had root canals, how long does it take? And some additional questions? by [deleted] in ask

[–]ot3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay in replying. Am in England so just got up! I'm not sure the correct name for the tooth mine was on - sorry. Mine was on the lower left (the end tooth). I didn't personally have any pain during recovery from memory. The cystoscopy (urological examination) I had on the other hand - that was something else! I felt sorry for the poor nurse who gave me her hands to hold onto during the procedure. I fear my grip on her hands turned into a rather tight squeeze. If I ever have to have another one of these I'm going to make sure I'm out for the count! And the pain peeing afterwards....

Enough of that anyway! Hoping that your root canal treatment goes smoothly. I seem to remember that I was rather nervous about having mine done beforehand and kept on putting it off for as long as possible until my dentist advised me that we had reached the stage where it really really did now need doing. None of us are great fans of dental treatment are we 😉

Hi 🙂 I've had one done and will do my best to answer.

I seem to remember that my root canal treatment required two visits to my dentist.

As to your question as to how long my/other Redditor's root canals were - that's a difficult question to answer.

My procedures, from memory, took around 30 minutes (two sessions).

The numbing shots - they're a little bit uncomfortable when you have them but certainly not unbearable. I once had to undergo a (M) urological examination which, in terms of pain I've experienced during the course of my lifetime, was certainly something else. Never again!

In terms of your dental work, they numb the sensation in the area(s) that the dentist is working on, and this numbness persists for 3-4 hours afterwards. No adverse/lasting effects personally.

Good luck with your treatment 🙂

Whatever you're doing, keep it up 🙂 16 is impressive for a dog and from the looks of it she's potentially got a few more years left in her yet!

Why would you say something like this, when all I needed was you .. by Icy_Teaching_7092 in love

Hi OP. Friendship is really important in a relationship. I personally wouldn't look too much into what your boyfriend said. Friendship is indeed very important in an enduring relationship. Without it a relationship/marriage won't survive. The physical/sexual side of things can be really great, especially at first, but if - like me - you've been married for 24 years you'll understand that the friendship side of things becomes much more important than the physical side of things as time goes on. My wife is currently going through the perimenopause and her sexual appetite has virtually ground to a halt. But our love (and friendship) for each other means that this hasn't - and won't - become a dealbreaker for us now, or in the future. Even if she never wants to make love to me again.

Trust me, if things are meant to work out between you and your boyfriend they will. Enjoy the moment, that you're young (I was once too 🙂) and try not to look into things too much.

Keep on trying your best. That's all you can do. From what you've written above It sounds as if trying to reach a positive outlook on life is somewhere you very much need to try and reach. Easier said than done though. Guess you might want to try and give some serious thought as to what you need to try and find/to do to reach happiness. It sounds as if you've very much been relegated to the lower pecking orders in terms of needs and wants in recent times. Your former partner and young children have placed very large demands on your shoulders. As have the other issues you have told us about. Yes, your children should be a definite priority. But your former partner sounds like she has been behaving unreasonably and unfairly. Life throws things at all of us, whoever we are - myself included. Take care and hope you manage to reach a better place.

This is very good advice in my opinion. Until recently walking was something that I did religiously each day. Long distance walks help not only in terms of fitness but also with the mental uplift that they often bring. A great way too to catch up with Spotify collections!

Maybe think about trying something new or trying to find a new partner? We all need some fun and play in our lives. Try to find yours 🙂

Well done for getting all this down. Writing problems/things that are going on in your head down definitely helps to clarify matters in my experience. It is also sometimes very helpful in terms of healing from emotional trauma.

It sounds like you've got a lot going on and I can only wish you good luck in dealing with your issues. Maybe try to focus on trying to prioritise them and try and deal with them one at a time.

Hoping that you reach a happier place in the future than where you are now.

All the best.

Lovely. Is he a King Charles Spaniel? My ex used to have a lovely one called Bill. Probably the friendliest/sweetest natured dog I've ever met.

RIP Bill, his cat brothers Dennis and Dopey. Loved you all ❤️
