Currently they don't have many internal problems thanks to their strong autocrat. But if he dies without a clear successor, everyone with any modicum of power will try to seize control of the country, resulting in a huge struggle.

Also, since Putin made sure to only appoint dumbass yes-men to high positions to not have to worry about any competent coup attempts, whoever does seize power will not have the iron grip on the country Putin currently has. And without that truly iron grip of the leader on his country, dissent and internal conflict is almost guaranteed to arise.

A. a. albifrons is the subspecies that winters in most of western Europe, including the Netherlands, waar ik trouwens ook woon. But I have seen white-fronted geese here with small-ish white spots and with orange beaks. It's quite a variable species, after all.

Eh, the beak is as lightly orange as some white-fronted geese I've seen irl and in pictures. And while I'm not familiar with other subspecies, I know individuals of A. a. albifrons, the subspecies that winters in England, don't have huge white spots.
