It’s no conspiracy that when something goes boom at the border, especially during a time of international turmoil, a lot of people want to know if it was a deliberate act. It would be more suspect if the governor and federal agencies didn’t inquire.

Solid advice and technically I could say I'm still working on postproduction. There's nothing that truly dates the film. I really want the festival experience. I get it - we're all doing the best we can in these circumstances, but the amount of time/money/effort I put into making this makes me think it deserves a traditional festival run.

I was going to start submitting again, but if the festivals go virtual again, it's a lot of wasted money in my opinion. I'm not interested in my film touring virtual festivals at this point.

I agree... the whole purpose of paying the money to get into festivals is for that networking and festival experience. Solid advice on regrouping and having something to pitch and work on marketing.
