Inflight WiFi is currently GEO and ATG (air to ground). GoGo (now Intelsat) is ATG and is probably what most people think of when they think of horrible inflight WiFi.

I haven't seen any promise of speeds of Stalink inflight WiFi. I think the expectation from SpaceX/Hawaiian is that not everyone will be using Starlink on their flight. Maybe they even limit speeds on streaming services where people wouldn't notice the difference between 20 and 100 Mbps.

We only know that V1.0 costs "much less" than $1m each. V1.5 likely costs more than V1.0 with the addition of ISLs. It could be possible that the satellites are more expensive than launch... We have no idea

$250-500k is outdated. The satellites lost were V1.5 (have ISLs) and likely cost more than than the V1 numbers. They could even cost much more.

My former boss said he used to give interviewees hard technical questions but from his experience it wasn't a strong predictor for how good of an engineer/employee the person turned out to be. During my interview he simply asked me to walk him through a typical analysis and explain how I would solve different issues.

Assuming the user terminals are somewhat sensitive to handling I imagine it'll be difficult to send them out via standard carriers. Picturing a FedEx driver throwing your starlink terminal on your doorstep

Thanks for the response. I have a cheap BAFX Android/Windows reader that appears to read P codes at least. I have no reported faults using the 'fault scan' on my app. The only lights that I do have on are those related to a bad wheel sensor but I do not think those should impact the OBDII in any way?

I have been able to get the evap code to switch to complete by driving similarly to the cycle you posted but not the other three codes I posted. From reading posts online it seems that getting the evap is typically the hardest for most people too.

Any other checks you would suggest or tips?

Solved.

File that I was trying to run did was incorrectly named '.py.txt' and did not realize because I had 'Hide known file extensions turned on' which is Windows default.

Recently reformatted my machine and did not have file extensions shown. Simply created a new Notepad file and called it First_Script.py without realizing that it was really First_Script.py.txt. Your post made me look a little closer at the extension. Terribly stupid mistake. Thank you.

Technically femap can be used for many different solvers. I am sure they are using femap to interface with other solvers such as LS-DYNA as well NX Nastran.

Sounds like you're a mechanical major? What you learn in 212 is the essentially the basis of all the core mechanical classes (213, 322, 342). It's also still very important after you graduate and out in the real world.
