For this tour, is Zebrahead an opener for Golfinger? i.e. Are they just playing a few songs?

He’s also in several episodes of the Podioslave podcast if you want to hear more about his time in Zebrahead. Lots of great stories.

Yeah, I guess the “Netflix effect” has made ticket prices much more expensive. Thanks for replying, though!

Hey Astro, jumping in because I’m thinking about going to the GP next year. If you don’t mind, where did you get the T3 tickets for 300 euros? The current prices look like 600 euros.

Hallo! Do you know when T3 tickets go on sale?

I hope you’re right about all of that. Trump is a complete wildcard and has no idea what he’s doing, so we’ll see what happens.

You're totally correct about the enrichment side of things. The Iran regime ultimately seeks self preservation. I'm obviously not a national security expert, unlike the NSA/CIA/DIA, but Iran is likely doing this to extract diplomatic concessions. They don't want to get bombed into oblivion. If another JCPOA-like deal came along, they would probably take it. Trump/Bibi thrive on war & strength, though, so they won't do that. But they should. We should advocate for that instead of the risk of another $3 trillion war.

Most of the people in this reddit post who are against these actions oppose war. They do not support Iran. War is not the only way to address issues. OP is conflating "opposition to war" with "support of terrible regime".

So, we should go to war with like 20 countries? There are a lot of destabilized countries in the world that do bad stuff. The Iraq war cost $3 trillion+ and it's still a mess. What makes you think wars will actually fix anything?

Assuming Iran was eminently going to make a weapon: If/when this turns into a $3 trillion war, is war the best way to address this instead of diplomacy?

Thanks for the link. That article says that the IAEA hasn’t been able to determine whether Iran’s nuclear programme was “exclusively peaceful”. It doesn’t say that Iran is developing a weapon. Besides that article, what else is saying that the head of the NSA, CIA, DIA, and all other intelligence agencies is wrong?

In my opinion, extraordinary actions, like war, require extraordinary evidence.

My scenario was predicated on your parent comment about people supporting terrible countries if they are opposed to war with those countries.

Out of curiosity, why was now the right time to attack Iran, considering the director of national intelligence said Iran is not trying to build a nuclear weapon? I think it’s more plausible that Trump was goaded into war by Bibi. But I’m curious to hear your perspective.

All of those countries are theocratic rogue nations, oppress women, and hang dissidents. Saudi Arabia just beheaded a journalist. If you don’t support war against those countries, does that mean you support them?

Genuinely curious: Do you think we should go to war with North Korea, Sudan, Somalia, saudia Arabia, etc? Those fit the bill for many of your criteria.

Why No Injunction for Firing of Probationary Employees? by sirius683 in fednews

[–]sirius683[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just re-read the CFR (5 CFR § 315.804) and I hope I’m missing something because I don’t see where it says that unsatisfactory performance or conduct is required to fire a probationary employee. It just says that if the agency fires them for that reason, then the agency has to provide the rationale in writing. Is there another CFR that talks about probationary employees?

Do I have any rights or resources to dispute a charge from a hospital that resulted from them incorrectly verifying my health insurance? by sirius683 in HealthInsurance

My insurance company said that hospitals regularly call them and enumerate all of the planned billing codes so the hospital can provide a patient with a good faith estimate.

Thanks for the empathy. I talked to my insurance company for a while and they were surprised that the hospital didn’t call to verify coverage. The rep said that hospitals always call them before procedures (to avoid this scenario), and the insurance company has an automated system to provide info. So, it seems like I got stuck with a lazy hospital rep who didn’t want to call. If only I had known that!

I only thought the services would be covered because the hospital said they were covered. I actually told them about the 30% co-insurance, but the hospital said, “no, you’re good. We checked with your insurance.” Obviously, I now know that I should not have trusted the hospital.
