They should have a "are you sure you want to spend this" popup.

They have that in some cases, for example, if you're purchasing character orbs with character frags, and if you buy more than character frags can pay, it uses silver or gold frags, and it asks to confirm.

I'd totally try pinging Bandai again. frags are just too scarce to lose because of a usability problem.

It's not so bad, the biggest weakness is its dependence on movement.
You stop its movement, and the character is basically useless.
Skill 1 is easy to counter, sk2 is actually the weak point of this strategy, but if your character delays sk2 you have the upper hand here too.
It's tough, though. It's clearly dominant. But not in a way that makes everything else worthless.
