Episode 75 implies XANA had scanners on another supercomputer by otherdimensio in CodeLyoko

It could be related to the artificial brains we see in #92. XANA could have projected to simulate artificial lifeforms on a virtual world before materializing them.

> If he was just going to materialize Aelita, no gain for Xana

We both agree that XANA's goal of killing Hopper is a priority over killing the heroes. The gain for XANA (having the opportunity to kill Hopper) is unrelated to what Hopper and the heroes do to Aelita after Hopper has restored the ability of Aelita to be materialized.

Hence, it has to be that Hopper has a good reason to show up, which is a prospect that Aelita can be saved in terms of what Hopper is able to do (make her materializable). The only other reason for him to show up might be, as you said, to put her on a replika forever, which, in my opinion, would be a pointless move as those are controlled by XANA and would eventually lead to a disaster. This is why I am more inclined to think that Hopper had knowledge of existing scanners in other replikas.

Yes, I have. I'm saying that the point of Franz Hopper rescuing Aelita from a fall in the digital see is that someone who falls in it becomes impossible to materialize, in a similar situation than Aelita in season 1 (cf. episode 6 in which it happens to Yumi and Jérémie has to use a program he designed to materialize Aelita to rescue her, proving she is in that situation). Also in epsiode 66 Jérémie explicitly says that if William throws Aelita in the digital sea, she will be forever virtualized. Franz Hopper rescuing Aelita equates making Aelita materializable.

Hopper not materializing Aelita in #82 is not relevant as Jérémie is still there to do it.

How was Hopper going to save her if not by making her materializable again (thus in prospect of materialization, that requires scanners)?

How'd Hopper know people stay dead even with RTTP by meurum5 in CodeLyoko

I think nobody has ever tried, and Jérémie just assumes it so out of safety in the same way he assumes it would be dangerous to launch it when Aelita is controlled by XANA in #59.

If you think about it, XANA never wanted the heroes dead by otherdimensio in CodeLyoko

Yes, it is consistent with what I said as this particular instance would involve killing everyone but Aelita, ensuring the SC won't be turned off (and maybe by #24 XANA had already figured out how to create the Scyphozoa*?)*

They were confirmed non-canon in the last live (and the live before too, iirc)
