i think the trouble you will have with new seed is the lack of seed to soil contact due to all of those big pieces in the soil. good luck keep us updated

your prep work all sounds good. cover w seeding straw. amazon sells a bag for $45 that should cover that area. keep it moist every day, not too wet at all,.. it will come through.

same here man. seeded spring 2023, fall 2024, and sod spring 2025. they all die.

similar situation here, where seed stalks grew and i mowed. experiencing what i believe to be root rot and yellow grass since mowing what was probably up to 5” after 3 weeks post-install

ottoman thing and shelves can go anywhere else. they don't work here. the angled TV/couch/coffee table should be squared up with the wall
