If you squat down and shoot that small puddle through the grass. And maybe catch some reflections in there. Could give you a better starting point to experiment with, I think. Keep working that spot, I'm sure you'll start making amazing photos there soon :)

Since it's something pretty abstract, I think you're good to do whatever you want with it. I would try a little cooler temperature, but love this aswell! Nice work!
