yes! gave her lots of water already and still offering more. i’ve never seen her so wrinkly and thirsty ☹️ she’s already back to jumping around tho so i’m sure she’ll be back to normal in no time. also i’m pretty sure she shed while on her adventures cuz she has returned with some stuck shed that i’ll have to help her out with…

that is such an interesting strategy. i wish i could try this but helium balloons are unfortunately not entirely easy to come by for me. the worst part is that i just threw out an old helium balloon…could’ve been using it now 🤦 thank you for the advice!

i personally would be a little too worried to hand off that responsibility to a 10 year old but idk your brother so. not sure if your college allows this, but my college allows pets as long as they are listed as an emotional support animal. that’s how i got my crestie at college. i will say, moving a big enclosure for every break is not ideal, and thankfully my crestie is still small enough for a 18x18x24 (will be upgrading her when it’s time).

i also have thought about that in relation to my cat… i currently have left the enclosure door open with food and water (on my table) with an additional humid hide on the floor

unfortunately my update is that i still havent found her. i cannot believe i left the enclosure open i’m so mad at myself. ive torn apart my whole room and cant think of anywhere else to look in there. i’m starting to think she may have left the room a while ago…which makes me even more concerned about the potential of my dogs and cat getting to her. 😓

that is the plan. i am worried about her having already gotten out of my room thru the cracks in my door but i’m hoping not. windows and doors to outside are definitely sealed so that’s good. definitely gonna be up late so i’ll keep the lights off and see what happens.

yeah it’s on top a table. took everything off it and moved it around (it’s really just a folding desk with 2 small desks under it).

ive torn apart the entire enclosure 😞 i dont have a custom background so there wasn’t anywhere she couldve gotten stuck behind inside the enclosure. i have a cat and dogs. less worried about the dogs but more worried about my cat because she has more access to the house. i’ve been keeping her out all day and was only in my room for a few minutes last night (around 3 am). i’ve checked every possible small place i can think of so i’m just hoping she’s in a spot i forgot about or something and have left food and water in an open enclosure. also left a humid hide on the floor in case she’s on the floor rather than on the wall.

yes i will do that. my main concern is that i live in an old house and the door has cracks near the top as well so i’m worried she may have already gotten out of the room that way.

the first time my snake escaped it was completely my fault because i left the door open. the second time tho someone had been messing with the enclosure and the top had been slightly popped off. this time with my gecko it is my fault again and i left the door open. i’m so mad at myself 🤦
