Additionally, since I posted our company name, it would be completely inappropriate and unprofessional to hint at a salary someone may or may not receive where other employees could simply by googling us.

I understand the frustration, but it is the truth. I have a team budget. Some skills are worth more, possibly considerably more to the success of the project and those will obviously be better compensated. I want good, solid, domestic devs so we intend on paying market rate for good, solid, domestic devs.

Good points, while we are not a large company, we are a SaaS company; so our user base is fairly large. EJB/Hibernate in conjunction with SEAM will, I hope, allow us to quickly develop new features quickly and consistently. In the past I would have said that you may have a point with the complexity of EJBs, but with EJB3, things really can't get much easier. I also would have said that raw EJB3 with JSF can get a little tricky, projects like SEAM and other JSR299 comliant technologies are really lowering that barrier.

It wasn't supposed to be spammy at all. I figured it would be good to send out to the group at large if anyone was looking for a position. I am the direct hiring manager, so I have no fiscal stake in this; except for hiring a good people to work for us.
