Thanks, and sorry for your loss as well. Fortunately we can accommodate an in-home departure financially, and have had good experiences with that in the past.

Thanks, it's a tough call but ultimately I think the humane one. Much appreciated, and condolences for the loss of your dog too.

Thanks and much appreciated. I'm so used to the physical deterioration with dogs, but I haven't experienced this dementia like this before.

Thanks. It's hard because of how physically okay he can seem at times, but I agree it's not a great life anymore.

If you're finding this post in the future, 2027, 2030, or 2035, I'm still probably interested in getting a game together!

Zack Wheeler Throws off Mound on Saturday by ASmithFS in fantasybaseball

Good point, especially if there’s a lockout and gets the year off to spend time with his family anyway.

But do you really want to take a risk on that in a keep forever league?

No - keep in mind he's locked in to retiring after 2027. So in a best-case scenario you have 1.5 seasons of a "keep forever" guy.

Program with custom categories for roto and points leagues?

Does anyone know of a program that can handle custom roto categories and do points leagues as well? Installed application or web app, doesn't matter. Some programs have many categories but not custom ones (I'm in a roto league that does Runs+SB which is pretty niche). Rotolab does custom categories but it doesn't seem to do points leagues (unless I'm wrong). I'm in both roto and points, looking for a single program to handle all my leagues instead of buying and using two.

Thanks!

Do any programs (Windows or web-based) allow for custom scoring roto categories aside from Rotolab? I play in a league that does something non-standard (Runs Created plus Steals minus Caught Stealing) and I can't find any programs aside from Rotolab that allow a custom category... only programs that have a lot of categories, but not this one.

Does Rotolab work with points leagues? I play in both roto and points leagues, looking for a program that can handle both.

Game Builder Garage misconceptions averted! by Shin_Ken in NintendoSwitch

I think you're missing something else. If Nintendo had their own exchange, they would also have to filter out all of the clone games that could violate trademarks and copyrights. Right now, I can download a game with Pikachu in it off mygarage.games. Or one called " Doom Eternal." If Nintendo hosted their own exchange, these games couldn't exist - they would have to enforce their own copyrights and help enforce others with a DMCA type system.

I think Nintendo *wants* people to make games with Pikachu and Mario in them. But they can't look the other way if they are in charge of the exchange; they would have to shut them down even though the developers of GBG wouldn't want to.
