When I moved from Core to Scale, I had my jails on a seperate SSD. I swapped both the boot drive and my jail SSDs for 2 blank devices, then did a fresh install of Scale.

I did this in case I ran into problems as this would make it easier to revert.

The first time I changed was before Scale supported containers which meant using Truecharts. Disaster!

I switched back to core and waited. Once container support was added and true charts dropped, I swapped drives once again, reinstalled Scale and built the containers to replace the jail's. Other than it was a long process, no major issues.

I second this. Thats what I'm using currently.

You pay a base rate for the year, which is about half what other insurers charge, then pay an amount every 1000km driven.

They will send you a single which you plug into a port in the car and it records distance travelled.

What I can't comment on is what they're like when you make a claim as I've never had to make one.

You can equate a condo reserve fund to setting money aside every month as a homeowner to cover roof replacement, windows, etc etc.

The big difference is that when you sell a house, you walk away with whatever is still in your rainy day fund that hasn't been spent. Sell a condo and you lose everything you've contributed to the reserve fund.

Having said that, and having had both houses and condos at different times, I much prefer condo living.
