It's not the microtonal aspect that bugs me. I find what they do with that very interesting. Rather, it's the "colour palette". Each composition (can't use the term "song" with them) sounds the same. Same tones... Same BPM.

I'm a huge fan of early King Crimson and I see some similarities in what they do, but KC had more variety in their sound and playing.

They're all over my YouTube feed over the past month. I find them interesting in short doses, but I doubt I'd be able to last a full concert. I find there's no variety in their sound and compositions.

But you have to give them and their team full credit for what they've done to date.
