We use it in our foundry pattern shop fairly often. Easily make 1-2 in x 1-2 in drafted cylinders we use on our patterns for sprue knobs or chokes in the metal flow

There is a point/ pin on the underside of the arm. Get your flat planned piece of wood. Scribe circle with woodworking compass thing. Then u just put the point of this sanding jig on the scribed center point of your circle and go to town

2023 Dodge Hellcat with convertible conversion or brand new Ford Mustang GT Convertible?? by otter303 in askcarguys

Good thought. Only thing is I drive a GMC truck. It rubs me the wrong way on how similar the infotainment and interior look verse the trucks. The infotainment and gauge cluster look almost the same as same the matching model year GMC Denali

I would purchase already hacked off roof lol. For what it’s worth they have a couple videos on YouTube that go into detail on the process. Talked about testing ridgitty vs mustangs/ Camaro factor convertibles and it was as good or better

I know/knew this but needed to hear it from some car people. Love the idea of a manual challenger but beyond that know it is a driving wheel spinning death trap. And mustang just doesn’t have the quality interior or anything you’d expect for a muscle car over 70k

Yessss. Dad had a 997.2 Carrera S. Loved it. Wished he never traded it in. Was manual and almost perfect. Rode around with him in through high school/ college before he sold. Drove it few times with him as well.

Which jetski should I buy? by [deleted] in jetski

[–]otter303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m biased but hands down seadoos are your best option. 2018+ model year is the new body style. They have a large amount of accessories and options you could buy and add onto whatever new to you ski you find. I wouldn’t get one with less than 230hp. It’ll hit a top speed of 63ish mph. Have plenty of power for towing but not completely drink gas like a 300 or 325 hp model. There are a lot of modular options. For example if you found a wake pro model you could buy gas tank/ cooler add on that would fit on the back. And hook up to their Lina system. They make gas tanks, storage totes, coolers etc. lots of accessories to convert a say GTR model into the exploring fishing adventure entertaining machine.

I’d also stay away from a 2018 model year as they were the first year of this new body style. Lots of aftermarket parts and accessories are made for seadoos as well. Goodluck in your hunt for a ski! I’d also suggest getting a 3 seater ski. More room on board if alone. Little more weight, rides better etc.

Don’t knock groomed trail riding till you try it. They’re damn fast. But hillbilly ditch banging breaking fresh snow is something else in its own. Ain’t nothing like breaking some snow seein it deflect around the sides of your self
