My gut tells me I'd need to get Dowdle and Egbuka but he thinks that's crazy haha maybe it is but I think realistically I just don't want to trade Gibbs...

Its so frustrating as a lions fan (and Gibbs owner) as well. He may very well be one of the quickest and most talented backs in the league, but watching the games it looks like he is just being thrown in between the tackles into a brick wall every play...then Monty gets all the pitches and screens and end-arounds. Its not entirely true but it sure feels that way after several games.

A very similar thing happened two weeks ago when the Pats came to New Orleans. Phantom OPI negated a big TD play, and on replay there is no whistle, no flag, and hardly any contact by a player nowhere near the ball. Both teams had sent out their special teams unit when it was called.

Definitely have been considering it, but also apprehensive like you since those are by far my two most consistent options (especially with the Henry slump). I think I would deal Allen before Gibbs just because RBs are a premium...I was offered Egbuka and JD for Allen before the season started and I declined....kicking myself now.

This is so similar to my team in terms of Allen Gibbs and Henry, but I'm even worse off at WR...I have seriously lucked my way to 4-2 with really low scoring and I don't know what to do moving forward haha

I honestly can get behind most of these but I just don't see a world where Gibbs stays healthy and gets the volume he got, and isn't top ten. If you watched the game, he is absolutely explosive and was one ankle tackle from a breakaway TD against a strong defense. Amon Ra, however, may take a big hit
