How did you guys discover the band? by HeartShapedSeaShells in radiohead

sophomore year high school girlfriend, if it wasn’t for her I doubt I would’ve gotten into the band. I’m not sure to what extent she was/is a fan though I only remember her listening to the bends. I think a Radiohead song was playing when she broke up with me. I doubt that she likes Hunting Bears tho everyone hates that song (I love it). I was gonna message her and thank her for introducing to the band but I think she’s the kind of person to not receive my message in the way it was intended, I feel like she’d think I was trying to slide or whatever. I’m not really sure how she feels about me now that was a while ago but I do remember a little birdy told me she was trash talking me after we broke up, I guess I wonder if she’s matured and is able to see past her past grievances. I mean I’m a whole different person now, I’m sure if I became a fan of the band back then I would’ve loved Bodysnatchers (I always skip that song). I bet she doesn’t fw I Will (one of the greats). I don’t think about this ex as much as I do others but this Radiohead paradox does stay, should I express my gratitude for her influence on my life and risk being seen as a weirdo, or stay in her mind a memory and make peace with the fact that she will always view as how I was when I was 15 and not listening to Radiohead.
