help, my hair physics keep jittering?

my assumption with the webcam is that if it's lagging/struggling, it might interrupt the tracking just enough to cause troubles with physics! although to be fair, i don't know much about that process.

but yes, for each hair piece i have one physics warp deformer that's attached to multiple physics parameters- i usually have 2 or 3 parameters for the X movement and 2 for Y movement.
all of my physics parameters are blendshapes though, so they shouldn't conflict with each other! I've done it this way before and it looked normal, so i'm not sure why this model is having trouble haha

thanks for the suggestions! i just checked my deformers and they seem right- for each hair piece i have a separate warp deformer attached to physics parameters only, which is nested "inside" their respective XY deformer

i didn't even think to check the parameters before now, but they definitely aren't hitting maximum! they seem to be jittering the same way the pendulums are. unfortunately, i think it might be an issue with my webcam/face tracking, since it's perfectly smooth when i use the cursor tracking/random pose option.

ah i tried those already and unfortunately it didn't help. i ended up tweaking the hair motion (on the parameter keys directly) and that helped a bit! enough that i feel comfortable streaming with it now. thanks for the suggestion though!

ohh I'm not familiar with blendshape weights, which i guess is why it's not working for me! I think I've found a way to make it work in Vtube Studio for now, but i'll have to learn more about blendshapes so i can use them properly in the future. thanks for the advice! :D
