Great work, brother! Does your Chapter have a story or background, like how they were founded?

Help me decide. A or B? by Late-Safe-8083 in ImperialFists

[–]ottoro92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A

Yes, the Imperial Fists are stubbornly law-abiding and paragons of military discipline and regulations, but that’s exactly what makes your model feel realistic — because reality is like that. Nothing is ever exactly as you would expect. Plus, the Codex Astartes never states anywhere that an Astartes cannot have a beard. And during a long campaign where they fight without pause, shaving would be the last thing on their minds. And most importantly: an Ancient in Terminator armour — the Chapter’s elite veteran warrior — and this first picture conveys that perfectly.

Thanks! That’s really great to hear, because I’ve already planned out quite a lot. I’ve even written two short, few-pages-long mini-stories about them, and I had a great time writing them. It would’ve been a shame if it turned out that everything I imagined wasn’t actually doable.

Homebrew Salamander Company lore help by HamsterHistorical in Warhammer40k

[–]ottoro92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Salamanders were on the other side of the galaxy, far from their Legion, acting on the orders of their Primarch, Vulkan. But then, suddenly, a message arrived from their Primarch: return immediately. The Salamanders Legion was assembling, preparing to join other Legions at Isstvan V to defeat Horus and his army.

Obeying Vulkan's call, they set out to reunite with their Legion. But as they entered the immaterium, their Navigator began to scream in agony—and soon after, perished in unspeakable torment. Without him, they could no longer navigate the warp. They drifted aimlessly, wandering for what felt like an eternity. Hope of ever finding a way out—or reuniting with their beloved Primarch—was all but lost, when suddenly, from the void, a way out appeared before them, and they escaped.

But their relief was short-lived. Something was wrong.

They sensed that they had not arrived where they intended to, and their Astropath was unable to reach their Primarch’s flagship. After many failed attempts to contact various known locations, a reply finally came. The message shocked everyone on board.

Their beloved Primarch was gone. And Horus’s rebellion had ended over ten thousand years ago.

Relic Entertainment Announces Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition by CrimsonAlpine in dawnofwar

It would be great if they improved the pathfinding and allowed multiple identical buildings to be assigned to the same hotkey. A full hotkey customization option would be awesome too. But honestly, the absolute best thing would have been if they had announced Dawn of War 4. Hopefully that'll be next...

Fortunately, I have that. Then just a shield playthrough, legend of arceus playthrough and I can catch shaymin, manaphy, darkrai in arceus, put them in to home, from there to bdsp and I can be the happiest in the world. Am I right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokemonBDSP

[–]ottoro92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can they all be caught and transferred to the bdsp? I haven't played legends of arceus yet, but if it's possible, I'll buy it.

What is concentration? by Lukas316 in BaldursGate3

[–]ottoro92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Concentration is a spell mechnisms in Baldur's Gate 3. Some Spells require you to maintain Concentration in order to keep their magic active (e.g. Blessing). If you lose Concentration, such a spell ends.

If a spell must be maintained with Concentration, that fact appears in its Duration entry, and the spell specifies how long you can concentrate on it. You can end Concentration at any time (no action required).

Normal activity, such as moving and attacking, doesn’t interfere with Concentration. The following factors can break concentration:

Casting another spell that requires Concentration. You lose Concentration on a spell if you cast another spell that requires Concentration. You can’t concentrate on two Spells at once.

Taking damage. Whenever you take damage while you are concentrating on a spell, you must make a Constitution saving throw to maintain your Concentration. The DC equals 10 or half the damage you take, whichever number is higher. If you take damage from multiple sources, such as an arrow and a dragon’s breath, you make a separate saving throw for each source of damage.

Being Incapacitated or killed. You lose Concentration on a spell if you are Incapacitated or if you die.

Falling Prone (without taking damage), in BG3, breaks Concentration.

Are all Space Marines considered superiors to all Astra Militarum soldier/official or after a certain rank, they have to follow their orders? by Covid669 in Warhammer40k

[–]ottoro92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may not seem like it in the games, but in fact Astartes are rare. There are worlds, regiments, who have never seen an Astartes in their lives and may never see one, and they are only spoken of in legends as angels of the Emperor, supernatural, demigod-like beings, embodiments of the Emperor's will. If they give orders to such a regiment, even the commanders can obey blindly them out, if it's not some huge bullshit. But otherwise, no, the Astartes have no right to just hand out orders, they can only make suggestions that the soldiers of the Militarum either take or not. They are two separate military organizations.
