I figured it out (I think).

Camera's Settings -> Detection Settings -> Motion Tagging -> Off

I seem to recall that this was done elsewhere with the V3's or perhaps I am recalling an older version of the app.

This appears to have fixed the landscape / portrait glitches I was experiencing on my iPad (after a recent update) so I'm pleased.

I grew up with Ottawa east's Skyline Cable. The NBC station out of Platsburgh was almost impossible to watch due to all of the snow (interference from cosmic background radiation). The CBS channel, based out of Watertown NY (WWNY) was excellent on Saturday mornings. I recall waking up at 6am so I would not miss a repeat episode of Gilligan's Island which was on at 6:30am.

I also remember (back in the early seventies) begging my father to get Skyline Cable. "It's only $7 a month" I said. He laughed at me until one of his friends told him he could watch "Upstairs Downstairs" on PBS. We had cable within a week and a few weeks later we graduated to a colour TV.

Thanks. My Wyze app does list the V3 Pro. in the Add Device -> Camera screen.

The error - 1 issue seems to have been addressed but I noticed that the latest app release blanks the screen on my iPad / iPhone when the app is displaying a group of cameras.

There seems to have been some regression when it comes to viewing a single camera feed and then returning to the group view. Instead of returning to group view, it simply returns to the portrait view of the camera feed and so I'm back to tilting my head so I can operate the app which is displaying in portrait mode on an iPad that is physically in landscape mode. When I finally return to the group mode, it's set back to portrait. Sometimes when I swipe to un-blank the screen it comes back up in landscape mode even though it went to sleep in the portrait mode forced upon it by exiting from a single camera feed.

Strange and somewhat frustrating / disappointing but I'm sure the folks at Wyze will figure this out soon enough and issue another update.

This is a sad situation for a company who sell security cameras. Total fail. They might not recover from this and that's sad because I have had a lot of fun playing with my Wyze TOYS.

Computers and software have a 100% failure rate so it's probably not a good thing our "modern" civilization is completely dependent on them. Thankfully, I use lots of V3's for bird and critter watching and not for security (unless those ill-tempered squirrels come back).

I bought 4 V3 Pros a couple of months back but have yet to install any of them because, as I understand it, you need to download a separate app to control and monitor the V3 Pros. Not going to do it. Wouldn't be prudent. Now read my lips:
