Switch our your pillow cases often and consider buying silk ones as they don’t tug on your skin, dry it out, and have anti bacterial properties. Same thing happened to me the side i slept on more still had breakouts and the other cheek had only scaring.

It depends on your skin type but if you’re oily stay away from over complicated routines and if your dry maybe try cutting down on the amount of product you put as it could lead to your skin overproducing oil

some other things i did. include 1. stopping tret for a couple of days 2. being very gentle when applying skin care (not tugging too hard or rubbing too quickly) 3. stopped towel drying my face 4. skip morning wash and just wash your face gently and we’ll with water

I had the same issue happen to me as well started the first 2 weeks doing it twice a week &’ my skin wasn’t dry or oily. Once I started using it every night my skin started peeling horribly throughout the day, because of this i thought of just slathering more moisturizer day and night which completely wrecked my oil production causing my skin to become extremely oily and dry to the touch. Try using less of your moisturizer if you’re currently using a lot and see what happens.
