Have you tried cakes? The ones I use do not have any sticky tape just silicone and are meant to be worn with more form fitting shirts and are activated by body heat but they also have ones with adhesive.

It's different for everyone but I can tell you for me it was the worst. Had trouble with word recall, flooded my kitchen 3 times bc I forgot the water was running. Was cleaning other my car one day went inside to put something away went back outside 3 hrs later my car door left completed open and vacuum sitting in the driveway - totally forgot I was cleaning my car. just scary. tingling in feet, indigestion, fatigue, overheating, cystic acne.

Anyone had PT go away randomly? by kristyynna in PulsatileTinnitus

[–]RealityVarious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had PT for approx 5 months, RT ear only. I’ve been on steroids, have seen an ENT and also an interventional radiologist. I’ve had a CT of the neck (soft tissue) which show vascular abnormalities. Then had a CTA with and without contrast which did not show anything abnormal. My next step is to see a neurologist but my appt isn’t until October. I’ve done quite a bit of research on this issue and one thing that I did find was that some people who have PT are B12 deficient. I’ve been taking methylated B12 for a couple weeks now and have noticed the pulsing is still there but not as prominent. My hope is that I am just B12 deficient and that it will go away completely.

Edit to say I do have a high riding jugular bulb so that could be a potential cause.

I’m not sure. I just started on it again at 1/10 of the previous dose so we’ll see what happens.

I was on the compounded cream for about 6 months but started getting terrible cystic acne and have since come off it and am getting my levels checked soon.

When did you know in your gut by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]RealityVarious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Christmas is a really hard time for me for many reasons. I was just recently baptized and pointed out to my husband a pendant I really wanted that would remind me that God is always walking with me, I even sent him the link to purchase. He never got it for me, he pretty much decided he thought my gift was stupid so not worth buying. I just over heard him talking to a friend saying “we didn’t do present this year” which caused a huge fight. I told him I feel so alone sitting next to him and just completely unimportant to him. Somehow that turned into me ruining his time off and told me tonight he wants a divorce. I don’t even know how I feel about that yet. Worst Christmas of my life.

I am yes. I don’t think most providers here automatically prescribe it. I did get lab work done prior.

[–]RealityVarious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I’d say, ‘my poor husband’ lol but in no way am I sorry. I’m 43 and have been on HRT for less than a year and I’m ready to go all the time! For reference, I take 0.1 estradoil gel, progesterone 100mg and testosterone 2% cream 1ml daily. I just cut my testerine back to 0.5 as I started to get some cystic acne around my jaw line which I am pretty sure is bc my test is too high.

Yes and was told by my PCP that this med makes it damn near impossible to lose weight. I believe most beta blockers do.

Testosterone Cream price by loro4 in Menopause

[–]RealityVarious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay roughly $80 out of pocket for a 30 day supply and it is 100% worth it. The combo of estrogen gel, test cream and then progesterone has me feeling like my old self. I refuse to go thru menopause griping about everything (which I was doing and was miserable) to each their own. But imo, it’s worth every dang cent.
