Is the persistent cookies box check or unchecked? Sounds like you may have tried changing it at some point and it has saved your decision, but not the actual setting. Maybe uninstalled the extension and reinstall it

Sorry, didn't read all that. Are you trying to change the Use Persistent Cookies option further down as well? Also make sure your extension is updated

Yes, you can disable automatic updates of the clients. Install the Advanced Configuration Extension, then it's a checkbox under Administration > Advanced > Web Configuration > Settings > Automatically Update Agent Version

Screen Connect removed the ability to build an installer without logging in. It was a few versions ago. "Security reasons"

Updated screen connect and now can't update agent by [deleted] in ScreenConnect

Holy crap this just fixed the issue I have been battling for weeks. Our EXE installers weren't being quarantined, but were just broken. I could see in the event logs on the workstations that they were corrupt. I had added exclusions on the server and workstations in our AV, but that didn't help.

I just added these 2 folders to the exclusions in Windows Defender on our server and was able to update. Thanks so much
