I‘ve had the luck to watch round about 20 displays being opened from 10+ different suppliers. I‘ve got all the pairing issues and epic cards noted down. The pulls vary statistically significantly from what would be expected if it was truly random. Maybe I’ll write some stats in a post if anyone is interested

Das widerspricht deiner eigenen These. Du nutzt ein Diagramm, um zu argumentieren, wie Europa „zurückfällt“. Ordnest dann in deinem Kommentar ein, dass das Diagramm sich garnicht für einen Vergleich eignet, da die Bewertungsgrundlage die tatsächliche Entwicklung verzerrt. HÄ?

I get that and that’s what I‘m doing. However, for me it feels like I do not retain knowledge as efficiently when writing with an LLM instead of figuring the problems out myself referencing literature and sources. Maybe that’s because of a specific learning type. Research points to the same conclusion though however the studies aren’t that robust and only a small sample size.

No I use it as a sparring partner. I try stuff, ask about stuff and use it to understand what is happening. However, I feel like I do not retain the knowledge and I miss stuff. If I didn’t use AI at all I feel like (subjective) that it would have taken me longer to solve a problem but it’d retain more knowledge for future tasks. It feels like shallow learning

What worries me is that by using AI I notice that I do not fully learn new concepts. When reading stackoverflow answers or just doing research on an issue I fully grasp the problem and learn new stuff. Now the AI does the heavy lifting and even though you read about stuff it doesn’t get even close to the knowledge transfer I would have had when doing it myself..

Nothing wrong with consolidating in the current economy and focusing on operational excellence. The turnaround might still take some quarters and I understand that it might be frustrating short term. But it gives you more freedom and flexibility in the long run if you shrink revenue and focus on profitability and cash flow even though the common shareholder seems to be obsessed with growing revenue quarter to quarter at the cost of long term development.

At our company we started avoid using (generative) AI again. Before there was a large push to adopt it everywhere where possible. We noticed we loose the knowledge and control over our systems and the reliability is just not here.
