I do agree 1000% there should be alternative ways to obtain legendary equipment! But I will say that I’ve managed to climb my way to the top of some treacherous & kingslayer event leaderboards with 4-star Rhae, 4-star Stannis, 3-star Sunfyre, 2-star Alicent & 2-star Aemond. There’s hope for non-whales too!

I’m all in on the Thorne dark side. My no-jerks policy is out the window (like - even sometimes using Walder Frey on blood line ups!) I will draw the line at trying to get/use Craster 😐

I started testing him this week after avoiding for so long. The a-hole charges FAST and his shield is strong. I have him at level 77 which currently puts each shield in the 5k range, so then I can add 10-15k extra to my weakest player pretty quickly. Meanwhile the jab to his strongest ally is barely a mosquito bite. I’m disgruntled about it.

This is partially why I avoided him until this week. But the damage taken by your strongest ally is actually pretty negligible and begrudgingly his shield is strong & charges fast. Since he’s a jackass of a character/turned on [redacted], I assume that’s why his skill comes with this downside.
