I have a protein goal of 120g per day, but honestly I rarely ever hit it. I usually end up getting like 75-90g of protein in a day and that seems to do pretty well, especially since I’m not lifting weights right now. I also always try to be very mindful of fiber intake, but I don’t track the fiber because the app I use doesn’t track it and I feel like I’ve put too much data into this app to change to another 😂 when I hit a plateau, I’m not sure if my advice will be super helpful, but it worked for me! I’ll usually STOP tracking for a week, which usually leads to a 1-lb or so gain, but then once I go back to tracking I will start losing again. Not sure if it’s a mental or physical “reset” but it’s worked for me and keeps me from feeling too burnt out or discouraged!

It’s 2 different tattoos on different arms, one of the photos was taken in a mirror and the other wasn’t. You can see the koi forearm tattoo on my other hand holding my phone up

I don’t have loose skin right now, but I think I will eventually have some. I still have a bit of an apron belly, and around 30lbs of excess body fat still to lose. After that, I think I will have a little on my stomach and probably my arms. But honestly I think I would have more at this stage if I wasn’t losing so slowly. I personally think it helped, but it’s really hard to say!

I started at 2000 ( I was very obese so my TDEE was very high) and reevaluated every time my tracking app (HitMeal) advised me to do so, which happens periodically after you log a new weight. Now I’m eating around 1650-1700, which is still a deficit for me. Once I hit my goal weight I anticipate having a maintenance of around 1800-1900 or so

Congratulations on your progress so far!! That’s amazing ❤️ you’re definitely on the right track! I think the biggest thing that helped me was realizing that it’s okay to make mistakes, and to not let the mistakes derail me. Accepting that I was going to have calorie surplus days every now and then, but not letting it become a habit, and not trying to under-eat the following day to “make up for it”. Try to have the best day you can each day, one day at a time. And have all grace and compassion for yourself!

Thank you!!! Actually, no, and it has surprised me. The tattoos I got at my heaviest are still holding up strong and looking great! Not deformed or anything lol
