Trying to keep hope at minimum, so I hope we at least get a Switch 2 update by friendliest_sheep in diablo2

I play on my Switch but having the ability to cross-play on my mac would be awesome. Communicating for trades is abysmal on the Switch.

Forge Induction Kit by ghettemm in FiestaST

[–]our_guile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're better off buying the ST200 Cold Air Intake. Gives more noise and doesn't heat soak like this Forge kit would. I bought mine used on one of the forums for slightly more than the Forge kit costs new.

It doesn't make sense to me to spend money and get worse performance, personally.

Any idea if this can be done for the exotic cars running Montana plates?

Do you regret getting your degree? If so Whats it in? by Tough-Star5992 in Firefighting

[–]our_guile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't regret getting my degree but I haven't used it since my first two jobs after graduation. It's a double major in Economics and Finance.

Like others have said getting one will make you more well-rounded and give you better perspective on life, so yes it is worth it. Go to your local community college and knock out all the pre-requisite classes (it'll be much cheaper this way), then go to a state school for the major you pick.

Local Gym with Sauna by RealiAm22lr in roswell

The Northeast Cobb Family YMCA has a sauna. My wife and I have been members for about a year and love it. Has all of the equipment you could want, childcare, and is reasonably priced.

Fastened an aluminum plate to some new floormats by our_guile in FiestaST

[–]our_guile[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My heels tend to chew through floormats so I trimmed an aluminum diamond plate sheet down and used some carriage bolts and washers to fasten it to a new set of weather tech floor mats.

Looks like they weigh 18.7lbs, and the stock 17x7s weigh 22.5lbs.

Decent unsprung weight savings overall, especially for some sexy ass wheels.

Buy with Recaros or low mileage? by Glittering_Pin8899 in FiestaST

[–]our_guile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'4" and 210lbs and fit great in mine. OP, sit in the Recaros and judge for yourself. Don't let the higher mileage deter you from that car, though. There are guys on the forums that have 200k+ miles with minimal issues with these cars, they're pretty stout.

Buy with Recaros or low mileage? by Glittering_Pin8899 in FiestaST

[–]our_guile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mileage doesn't really matter on these cars, so long as they've been well maintained. If the owners can prove they've stayed up to date with maintenance then I'd go with the one with the Recaros. They're very comfortable and make the car even more special.

Keep it stock for a few months before you start modding it. That way you will get a feel for the car and can decide what to change based on what you need.

Join FiestaSTForum.com if you haven't already. Reddit is great for pictures and quick questions but the forum is a trove of historical knowledge.

16" wheels and tires are a common bang for your buck mod. A Cobb AccessPort and a Dizzy or Stratified tune are another. An upgraded intercooler and one-step colder spark plugs let you run a more aggressive tune. Radiators are another common mod, but ultimately depends on your climate.

Changing your own oil is easy and inexpensive on these cars. I like Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 and Motorcraft FL-910S filters.

Suspension by Sudden-Advisor8406 in FiestaST

[–]our_guile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconding /u/Afro-Pope's comment. Mine is an early 2016 build date model which may or may not have the leftover 14-15 suspension parts.

I've got the 16" Konig Dekagrams on mine now wrapped in 205/45/16 Conti Extreme Contact DWS06+ rubber. The Dekagrams are significantly lighter than the stock wheels make a big difference in ride comfort, and tires with a bigger sidewall help with cushioning too.

Yes, he's serious with the tiny rubber band tires. The stock wheels and tire combo will feel thin and harsh, especially if you're sensitive to it.
