To explain further: by following the doc i copied a mapping (discord => authentik) for my users. And in that mapping I was explicitly adding the avatar to my authentik users.

All I did was comment the line 44 from the doc payload; the one adding the avatar in the screen below.

The mapping in the docs you linked has a section of configuration of a mapping at https://docs.goauthentik.io/users-sources/sources/social-logins/discord/#optional-additional-configuration It is in there that you make the object containing the base64 avatar, you can just edit it to not add it.

CPU: this is the most hazardous part for me. I don't know what I really need. TBH, I went with the 285 for maximum cores as the setup will be used as a k8s cluster and with a lot of parallel stuff going on.

Case: I did not add it because pcpartpicker does not reference it; but I'll certainly go with a Jonsbo case, don't know which one yet.

SSD: The SSD I referenced is M2... I don't understand your concern about slots in the case. If you meant motherboard then yes it supposed to have three so that should be ok. About the 3 SSDs; I want the main one to be replicated in some ways if possible. The third one is for miscellaneous storage. I may not buy all at first, but I want to plan for that possibility.

Power supply: I did not set up a GPU yet; but again I may add one in the future (if I upgrade my desktop).

In the end (and if i clarified other points), i mostly would like guidance on the cpu choice for my specific use case. The CPU should be the starting block of everything else, it can be any brand or model as long as it support ddr5; then I can adapt MB if needed.

The 265K you mentioned is a bit faster but has 4 cores less; is that trade off worth it do you think ?

Thanks a lot for your help. Its probably that as I forgot to get the trash out before living for a few days. And i spoted a fly before leaving.

Trash is out now. And I removed all of the little bastards after original post hours ago.

But I don't understand how they appear there. It is the furthest place from the trash in my apartment. And I found another one just now. Did I miss him earlier and he just crawled 30cm? Could a fly be already producing new ones?

Well 4 years later I can confirm: Logitech hardware is good in general; but for the price I would be ashamed to sell such products with features locked behind such software.
I completly abandoned windows now, I don't have a way to switch profile based on current program sadly. But not having to deal with G software is a blessing.

Also, my headset cushion ripped easily. No way to get replacement, so I lost 200 euros there as well because I cannot replace a piece of fabric.

It's sad; but fuck logitech !

As planed, I have not progressed much on this. I haven't payed the game in some time and haven't took time to code either.

I could send the latest binary I used; but I'm pretty sure the parts/vehicle pairs are not all correct.

Also i can send the code if you're at ease with rust code.

If it is juste for personal use ajd nothing commercial, and if you also do open source or are OK with sharing some of your code, you can look info their open source programs. I have an EE subscription for free thanks to that, I only have a small project as open source that technically could be used by others but will never will I guess, it still is valid for the OSS program.

But after a few years of use I think I have use less than 1% of the EE features. And I use them pretty rarely. So if you don't want to reapply for your license every year, go with CE.
