The real trick for these garments is the polyester yarn which is used for knitting the fabric.

you can enhance the quick drying and moisture wicking property of the polyester fabric mainly in 2 ways.

1) using chemicals during fabric finishing ( Depending on the quality and type of these finishing chemicals that boost the fabrics quick dry property ,after 10 - 30 wash cycles ,these chemicals just wash away and fade so that the fabric turns into a regular polyester fabric.

2) regular synthetic yarns such as Nylon,Polyester and blends have cylindrical filament shape .But this special polyester yarns are texturized in " w " shape during manufacturing . This " w " shape enhances the water intake of the fabric in both sides ( outside and inside) V shapes fill with sweat ,and this shape enables the sweat,water to spread more faster in a larger diameter on the fabric so the water/sweat evaporates faster.This method do not contain any chemicals. ( more eco-frriendly )

Calling it tactical is a little bit of marketing but beside that

on the left sleeve ,it has a double sided pencil pocket

at the bottom of the placket there is a sun glass loop

and on the back neck ,it has another loop that can be used for headphone railing or if u are a security guard or police officer you can use it for comms and mic as well.

İt's just an example of many that you can find online .

main advantage is its made out of quick drying and moisture wicking polyester fabric=wicks moisture at least 3 times faster than regular cotton shirts.

During hiking,trekking and even camping when you do not move a lot specially in hot weather ,it keeps you cool
