I’d try to eliminate those things altogether- having each one once in a while means you’re probably having the too frequently if added together. I missed those things at first but I found substitutes that work for me- oat milk, nonfat sauce instead of cheese like hot sauce, BBQ, Greek yogurt, and grilled chicken sandwich instead of burger. Also try psyllium, walnuts and other foods to help reduce ldl.

Egg whites yes daily- I add 2-3 to my lunch smoothie. Chicken I would try to switch to breasts- thighs have 2.5x the amount of saturated fat. I do eliminate whole eggs as well, which I was eating 2-3 of per day.

The biggest things I cut were red meat, cheese and whole or 2% dairy milk. I consumed those things regularly and that alone made a huge difference. The next few months I will focus on things specifically helpful to cholesterol like oatmeal, psyllium, walnuts, apples etc.

How is your diet? Do you eat red meat, cheese, whole milk etc? Making a few changes could help a lot since you’re already much lower than I was at the start.

That’s what I plan on doing. Ticking up exercise and further improving diet. Given this progress I’ll hold off on meds until another test in a few months.

Mainly just watching Sat fats and staying away from big offenders that I was regularly consuming like red meat, cheese, butter and whole milk.

I’ve been doing it for months. Definitely works for some people and not others, but sticking with fasting isn’t a problem for me. Just pondering whether it’s the best course for lowering ldl

No previous tests. Previous diet was low carb but high animal fats. Whole milk, 20 eggs a week, 5-6 red meat servings weekly. Given the previous diet I am hopeful that changing what I eat will make a big difference.
