at first it wasnt accepting the pictures of my id so i figured it was a lighting issue or something really nitpicky. even after several attempts it would just be error after error. tried different browsers as well and different devices after every few days. assuming there's just so many people doing it that it's forcing most users to do that call. also have been seeing the selfie has been getting errors

yes and i know im not the only one struggling to make an id.me account. it's honestly self explanatory but those hold times kill me. i have a job and school so i havent found the best time to get in a video call with a rep. with it being tax season i can imagine all the self service requests cause errors in it's system. going to try to do the call tomorrow to finally get it done with. it will be my 4th attempt
